Nneka Ogwumike continues to solidify her place in WNBA history. In Seattle’s big win over the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday, the 13-year vet passed Candace Parker to become No. 9 on the league’s all-time scoring list and also recorded her 3,000th career rebound. 2. Caitlin Clark Sidelined with Quad Injury 🩼
Caitlin Clark will miss her first-ever game, college or pro. The Indiana Fever announced she’ll be out at least two weeks with a left quad strain. (ESPN)
WHY IT MATTERS: The Fever built their offseason strategy around Clark, and the early results have shown promise. Indiana is 2–2, with both losses coming by just two points or less. Without her, they’ll need to adjust their offensive rhythm fast.
It’s also a tough blow for the league. Clark has helped supercharge fan interest and now she’ll miss the upcoming June 7 matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, one of the most anticipated of the season. Their opening weekend showdown pulled in 2.7 million viewers.

3. Team USA 3×3 Finishes 6th in Series Marseille 🇺🇸
Team USA took 6th place at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Marseille 2025 tournament this past weekend. After winning four straight to advance to the quarterfinals, the squad fell to Spain, who went on to win the event. (FIBA Basketball)
