WHY IT MATTERS: This is becoming a pattern for the Trojans under head coach Lindsay Gottlieb, who has now signed three out of the last four No. 1 recruits: JuJu Watkins, Jazzy Davidson, and now Hall. While at Florida State, Howard set all-time records in rebounds (1,047), career double-doubles (41), and the single-game scoring record (40). She’s the definition of a star, and this honor is long overdue.
